Think, Think, Think

We all think.

Some of us
do it more often
and
deeper than others.

We give ourselves shit, a lot.

We can be critical,
judgemental,
yet compassionate and kind.

One of the gifts I've found,
in writing,
is the process
of healing.

Taking thoughts
to heart centred feeling,
adding words to articulate
and anchoring them
in written form,
allows me to let go.

Music, reading and exercise help, too.
